About the founder
Hi, I’m Kate Mason, the founder of Masonry Marketing. I’m a strategic marketing and communications leader, and I’ve built a career helping businesses (like yours!) tell the right stories, reach the right audiences, and achieve meaningful outcomes.
I’ve provided strategic advice, led integrated campaigns, shaped narrative, led and mentored teams, and delivered results. I’m as comfortable setting the direction as I am rolling up my sleeves to bring it to life. I’ve worked in agency land and professional services including accounting, recruitment and real estate, hospitality, not-for-profit, trades, and construction.
I take a human-first approach—one that’s grounded in insight, driven by purpose, and always focused on value and impact.
I’m a Board Member and volunteer mentor with Fearless Women, proudly supporting girls and young women in the ACT to thrive and live life courageously.
In my spare time, I travel the world, write, garden, read romance and fantasy, and generally enjoy little whimsical moments in this thing called life.
